Acrylic Impregnated Wood Barrels

These special CCC hand crafted calls come with Acrylic Impregnated Wood Barrels. These barrels offer the waterfowler the stability of acrylic with the aesthetics of beautiful grained woods. Your choice of insert can range from our standard Osage Orange (same as hedge or bois d'arc) to cocobola, or acrylic. These are used because of their superior acoustical nature and extraordinary long term stability. The acoustical support these barrels provide is tremendous. They make excellent and durable calls.

Design time involving the functionalism of CCC calls determine the final cost. All CCC calls work!! Where each of its design characteristics fall on the various acceptability parameter curves (which represent technically each of the numerous functions of a call) determine how ideally it will interface with proper operational coordination. The amount of correction for deviation from center norm on these curves is the result of the time I have spent on that call. In short, the more time I spend, the better it works and the more it costs. Consequently, these special Acrylic Impregnated Wood Barrel Calls range from $100.00 up to $250.00 (in $25.00 increments).

These are Black Walnut acrylic impregnated barrels with osage orange (hedge) inserts. Cost: $100 each.

Normally, I stock these calls in all price and volume categories. Turn around time on orders is about 2 to 3 days. These calls are to the loud side of mid-volume to Open Water volume (97-100 dB) call design. It is the most generally applicable volume range for various hunting conditions and acoustical environments. Shipping charges plus insurance will be slightly higher due to the increased value of the call or calls being shipped.
